Carlisle Community Church was founded by a group of settlers from the state of New Jersey in 1913.  That is why for the first 200 years of worship this congregation was known as New Jersey Presbyterian Church.  In recent years, we have changed our name to better reflect the reality that we are a community based church gathering from Carlisle and the surrounding towns and villages.  We hope that our new name will invite the next generation to visit and participate in this special church. Carlisle Community Church seeks to be a congregation that is gathering, growing, giving, and going.  We are grateful to God for his faithful provision for this ministry in that past, present, and continuing into the future.
